Airport Lounge Review: The Club MCO at Orlando International Airport

Lots of credit cards come with Priority Pass lounge access. The most popular is the Chase Sapphire Reserve, but it also comes with the Platinum Card from Amex, the Hilton Aspire card, Marriott Brilliant card and others. Orlando International Airport has two Priority Pass lounges. We had a chance to visit The Club MCO this past week in the B terminal near gate 91. It’s in the part of the airport where most of the Delta flights are located.

The Club MCO Priority Pass Loung Review

There are a few things you’ll immediately notice about this lounge. First, it’s huge. It’s probably three times the size of our Club lounges in Seattle (where I live). The second thing you’ll notice is that it’s not crowded. Some Priority Pass lounges are absolutely packed, regularly having an hour-long wait list (I’m talking to you Baltimore). But this lounge had plenty of open seating. And, there are more amenities here than you’d typically find in a Club lounge, including showers. Finally, I was really impressed by the service. The staff were quick to clean up discarded items and were very friendly and engaging.

This photo only represents about a third of the total space.

The dining area was both spacious and had more options than most comparable lounges. There was a soda fountain, espresso machine, multiple hot food options, a candy bar (she’s currently restocking), and more.

The bar also had plenty of space.

And, since we’re in Orlando, unlike other Club lounges, there was a kids area with video games.

The Priority Pass app lists this as having won an internal award in 2018 as “Lounge of the Year”. Based on my experience this week, it’s easy to see why.
