Some of the best credit cards for Disney vacations have no annual fee. Here’s a ranking of our favorites and why:
1) Discover it Cash
The Discover it Cash earns 5% cash back up to $1,500 spent each quarter in rotating categories. Plus, they have a shopping portal called Discover Deals you can use to earn additional cashback. Then, Discover doubles all your cash back at the end of your first year.
When you use a referral link (like this one), you get a $50 sign up bonus. There is no sign up bonus without a referral link.
BEST FEATURE: Discover doubles all the cashback you’ve earned at the end of your first card member anniversary. (We got a bonus over $1,000 earlier this year)
2) Chase Freedom
The Chase Freedom is similar. You get 5X Chase Ultimate Rewards on up to $1,500 spent in rotating categories each quarter. If this is your only CUR card, you can redeem these points at one cent each (cash). However, you can also build a Chase Ultimate Rewards Strategy. By adding a CUR card with an annual fee, you can transfer all your points to that card and then onto travel partners like Hyatt and Southwest Airlines where they’re worth almost twice as much.
You get 15,000 points after spending $500 in the first three months
BEST FEATURE: Being able to transfer points to other Chase Ultimate Rewards cards. The CUR cards with annual fees give you the option to transfer points to eleven travel partners and book Disney vacation packages at a discount.
3) Chase Ink Cash
This business credit card earns 5X Chase Ultimate Rewards on up to $25,000 spent each year on internet, cable, phone bills, and purchases at office supply stores. A lot of office supply stores sell gift cards, including Disney gift cards. This can be an easy way to earn lots of points. The card also earns 2X CURs at gas stations and restaurants.
