Hotel Review: Hotel Indigo Anaheim

The often overlooked Hotel Indigo Anaheim is in the top 10% of hotels on TripAdvisor. After our recent stay, it’s one we want to recommend to you. Here is our Hotel Indigo Anaheim review.

Located on the South side of Disneyland, it’s just over a half mile walk to the front gates of both parks.

We stayed in a Two Queen Bedroom Suite. It was over 400 square feet, had hardwood floors, a sofa bed, and a beautiful bathroom.

The pool is small and nothing to get excited about. It’s a small hotel so a small pool is not unreasonable, but the pool is not why you’d want to stay at the Hotel Indigo Anaheim.

Gym, Laundry & Parking

First of all, free parking. That’s a perk that’s really worth something in Southern California.

There is on-site laundry which is nice for those staying several days or more. Finally, the gym is small. It has the basics and we rarely saw someone using them, but it is below average in size and equipment.

Staying on Points

You “could” pay 35,000 IHG points per night. But, I’m not sure it’s worth it for a standard room.

We do recommend the Hotel Indigo Anaheim, but I would pay for it differently. My first choice might be to book it using Chase Ultimate Rewards if you have the Sapphire Preferred or Sapphire Reserve cards. Remember, Chase has their own travel center, so you can book this hotel and other non-Disney hotels using your points.

Alternatively, I think you could make a case for using your Barclaycard Arrival Plus or Capital One Venture miles.
