Yesterday, we told you about our favorite combination of Chase Ultimate Rewards credit cards. We use the Chase Freedom and Chase Sapphire Preferred together to save up to 15% on Disney gift cards. Today, we’re going to show you how to transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards from one card to another.
After you’ve earned all those points on your Chase Freedom, you’ll want to transfer them into your Sapphire Preferred account before transferring them onto great travel partners like Hyatt, Southwest, JetBlue, and United. Here’s how:
Instructions: How to Transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards from One Card to Another
When you first log into your Chase bank account, you’ll see Ultimate Rewards button beneath your credit cards.
Then select the account you want to transfer points “from”.
Near the top right you’ll see an icon that says “Show More”. When you select it a “Combine Points” option will show up.
Select the “from” and “to” accounts for transferring your points.
Verify the amount you want to transfer or change it to a lesser amount.
Finally, confirm and submit your transfer. All of the points you transferred will immediately show up in your account.
You can even transfer points to another member of your household.
