Disney’s Aulani Resort and Spa is a paradise here on earth. As we mentioned in a previous post, the food at Aulani is also very expensive. I think eating some meals at Aulani is a definite must, but exploring some of the off-site dining options at Aulani is a great way to save money. Take a walk across the street to the Ko Olina Station and Center for some great economical options.
Off-Site Dining Options at Aulani
1. Island Country Market
This was the place I frequented the most. This is the Queen of all ABC stores. Island Country Market is a grocery store, gift shop, and full service deli. I got all of our breakfast items, fresh fruit, and pool snacks for our vacation at this market.
2. Monkey Pod Kitchen
Monkey Pod Kitchen has a great atmosphere (often with live music) and an even better happy hour (3-5:30pm and 9-11 pm).
3. Just Tacos
Just Tacos is a Mexican food restaurant in this area. We ate outside, with a great view of the front of the Aulani resort. Just Tacos is also relatively affordable. We fed our family one order of fajitas, rice, and beans, along with drinks for under $30.
4. Island Vintage Coffee
If you enjoy a really good good cup of coffee, you’ll be disappointed by your options at Aulani. But, fear not, this is the place to go for some great Kona coffee. Island Vintage Coffee is within walking distance of Aulani, and worth the walk. My husband recommends the mocha.
5. Pizza Corner
Nestled within Ko Olina Station and Center, Pizza Corner, is a great spot to grab lunch. It’s a New York Style pizza place, that even has free delivery to Ko Olina Resorts. We fed our family easily for under $30.
6. Two Scoops
Two Scoops is a great place to walk and grab dessert after a nice meal. Our family of four loved our ice cream cones, the flavor, Coconut Macadamia, being the crowd favorite.
