We just got done highlighting the Best Buy offer and almost immediately found out there’s a similar offer for Walmart! Earn 10x Chase Ultimate Rewards when you use Chase Pay at Walmart.com.
10x Chase Ultimate Rewards at Walmart.com
From now until December 14th, earn 10x Chase Ultimate Rewards when you checkout using Chase Pay at Walmart.com. We’ve found this promotion on the Chase Freedom Unlimited, Chase Freedom, and Chase Sapphire Reserve. It’s being offered on up to $325 spent for each card during this window. If you’ve got more than one of these cards (not including authorized users), you could earn a ton of points.
You may remember that the Chase Freedom is already earning 5x CUR this quarter at Walmart. This is not an additional 10x, it’s a total of 10x for all of these cards.
Maximizing for Disney Gift Cards
Walmart does not sell Disney gift cards online. Your best bet is to buy Walmart gift cards and use them at Sam’s Club to buy Disney gift cards. Sam’s usually sells Disney gift cards at a 4% discount. Plus, Sam’s excepts Walmart gift cards. Although it’s usually not a problem to use Walmart gift cards at Sam’s for Disney gift cards, anytime you’re using gift cards for gift cards it’s a YMMV situation.
Use a Shopping Portal
TopCashback is giving 6% cash back on purchases made at Walmart.com. Shopping portals don’t normally pay out on gift card purchases but it’s always worth a shot. Plus, if you decide to use this for purchases other than gift cards, it’s definitely worth using TopCashback. You can set up automatic ACH payments with them so when you earn the cash back you don’t even have to mess with a check in the mail.
Using Chase Ultimate Rewards
Chase has one of the most flexible rewards programs. Points can be redeemed for cash, transferred to travel partners, and even used for Disney vacation packages. You can learn more on our Chase Ultimate Rewards Strategy post.
If you decide to apply for one of these cards, we’d appreciate you using one of our links on our Popular Cards page.
